Last autumn I worked in a forest with mushrooms. While working, sometimes time went by very fast and then there was no more light under the trees, where I worked. Then there was darkness, the trees and me, beneath them. The english word for this place between the bushes and branches is „understory”. And maybe the story told by these pictures does show some trees. But maybe it does also show something beneath of what we could see. Which is – of course – what pinhole cameras are made for.
So I used my pinhole camera to show the place where I have been working, where I met the night and where the mushrooms lived.

I have two pinhole-movies „Heimat” and „Der Tanz von Prinzessin Hiroshibelle”
